Proactive Search

The majority of work is on a Proactive Search basis. During a Search Assignment work is on a results only basis. The Client only pays the pre-agreed fees when a Candidate has accepted an offer, returned the signed contract and resigned from their existing company. At this time half of the pre-agreed fees are invoiced. When the Candidate physically starts with the Client on the date that has been pre-determined by all parties, the remaining amount is invoiced.

All the work is on a retained but not pre-paid basis, meaning in return for the commitment that is shown to the Client, for an extensive and proactive search to be conducted on behalf of the Client, that the Client works on an exclusive basis. Exclusivity is paramount as the majority of assignments that are worked upon are very specific to a market and there will only be a finite number of individuals who are going to exactly match the qualities needed. If a number of resourcing companies approach the same individuals, it looks unprofessional and dilutes the excitement of the opportunity.

At the initially meet with the Client, timescales would be mutually agreed upon that are reasonable to work to and allow for exclusivity. Proactive Search is charged on a percentage of the Candidates annual salary. As roles are not advertised and internal or external lists or databases are not used, there are no other hidden costs involved within our search process.

Approach Only

As the work is in very specific market sectors, occasionally the Client will know an individual that they would like to approach, maybe someone they have worked with in the past or someone who has an excellent reputation in the field. Some Clients want an approach to be made to these individuals in complete confidence as a third party. By doing so, it is possible to establish what the individuals proposed career wishes are, get an understanding of their existing professional situation and ascertain their level of interest in our Clients opportunity.

Approach Only is charged on a 'flat fee' that is pre-agreed and discussed with the Client in detail prior to commencing the Assignment, the fees depend on the level of information the Client ia able to provide about the prospective Candidate, how much the Client wishes us to be involved after the initial approach and/or if the Client has more than one individual that they would like approached.
